Review: Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation

Eve Dinner, please! Holiday season is coming and possibly you’ve received lots
of dinner invitations by now. Dressing up nice is mandatory, but we need to spice
up our makeup game too so that we look 101% extra and ready to rock the night!
For me, a good complexion product is a must, especially for NYE dinner since we’re
going to be staying up and partying until the dawn. Luckily, I’ve just received
these brand new Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. The Infallible range is
very popular nowadays and I’ve heard tons of good reviews about them. After trying
out the Infallible Pro Matte Foundation myself, I finally understood the hype –
this particular Loreal Foundation is the best Loreal foundation that I’ve ever
had and tried so far!

Loreal Infallible line is created for those who are looking for 24 hours, long-wearing makeup that won’t budge, cake, or fade no matter what activities you’re up to! Currently in Indonesia, this line consists of 3 different type of foundations, concealer, and some lip products. The one that I’m going to review today is the famous Infallible Pro Matte Foundation, an airy foundation which promises flawless and smooth face with demi-matte finish that lasts up to 24 hours. There are 8 shades available in Indonesia, ranging from 101 Classic Ivory to 110 Crème Café.

This Loreal foundation comes in simple,
black plastic tube packaging. Very travel-friendly and practical!
Now let’s get into the formula. This foundation
has super lightweight texture that feels airy on the skin. The breathable
formula making it perfect to be worn daily as it won’t suffocate your skin. It
offers medium coverage, yet it’s still possible to build the coverage up to medium-high
level. It can cover up redness, acne scars, tiny bumps, and mild undereye dark circles
nicely. On my dry-combination skin, this product also works well too and doesn’t
make my face feel dry even when I put no hydrating primer underneath. The oil control
is amazing as well, my T-zone stays oil-free up tp 6 hours with this product!
It doesn’t clump or cake around the sides of my nose (which tends to be dry and
rough sometimes), it doesn’t oxidize at all even though I sweat a lot during the
day – this foundation really stays put up to 12 hours and yes my face’s still
looking flawless at the end of the day!

Pick two or three shades that you think would match your skin tone. Usually I’d swatch those three in my inner arm first, pick the best two and then swatch them again on the jawline, blending those two upward to my cheek and downward to the neck.

Here is the first step. I swatched 101, 102,
and 104 on my inner arm. As you can see, the best two shades that match my skin
tone were 101 and 102.

Then I swatched those two shades again,
this time I put them on my jawline. Blend them into the skin, and see which one
of them get completely disappear into the skin. As you can see in the picture below,
101 is a little bit too cool and too light for me, while 102 leaves no trace after
being blended out. Therefore, my perfect Loreal Infallible Pro Matte
Foundation shade is 102! 😉
FYI my skin tone is light, around NC 20, and I have neutral-warm skin
undertone.
Aku biasanya aplikasikan foundation ini dengan
jari, namun untuk kalian yang suka memakai spons/foundation brush untuk
mengaplikasikan foundation, bisa juga. Either way, cara memakai foundation Loreal
ini nggak terlalu pengaruh dengan hasil akhirnya, karena bakal tetap flawless!
Senyaman-nya aja suka pakai teknik apa untuk pengaplikasian.

| Freshly applied! My face instantly looks flawless eh? I use only the Infallible Pro Matte Foundation here with a tiny bit of undereye concealer. No setting powder, hence the soft demi-matte finish. |

| 6 hours after application. no blotting, no touch-up. you can see the sebum starts to shine through on my cheeks and nose, but so far my face's still looking good and decent, not overly greasy. |

Overall, I am super impressed with this Loreal Infallible Foundation! The Infallible Pro Matte Foundation is #CarolApproved, and I can safely say this foundation is perfect for anyone who’s looking for a lightweight yet long-wearing base makeup with demi-matte finish. This foundation works well even on my dry-combination skin type, but I’m very sure those with oily skin would love this product even more than I do because it has great oil control 😉
