AWARD: Mumu's Best Beauty Picks 2015!
Hello Ladies ~
Happy New Year 2016! I know it’s a week late, but better late
than never eh? ;) Time sure flies so fast without us noticing it. To celebrate
the new year and also to embrace everything that we’ve been through last year,
today I have a very interesting post for all of you: Mumu’s Best Beauty Picks
2015!
In this post I will be talking about products that I loved
during 2015 – be it purchased within the year or not – and of course, those that
I believe to be the best products that outstand the other ones in performance,
quality, or price rate.
So, without further ado let’s get started ~
HACCI Honey Cleansing Oil
After trying so many cleansing oils from various different
brands, I can safely say this one is the only cleansing oil that doesn’t cause
my delicate, dry & sensitive skin outbreaks. It leaves no tight feeling or
strips my skin after the rinse, plus it smells oh-so-heavenly! My skin feels so
happy and moisturized with this product. Highly recommended for those who has desperately
given up in looking the nice oil cleanser for their problematic skin.
IPSA Metabolizer Regular 2
Are you suffering from adult acne and dry, sensitive skin
like mine? Had more than enough barely-unused-moisturizers? Given up already?
You should go and try this one. It’s a SKIN-SAVIOR. It’s non-sticky and absorbs
easily into the skin, leaving your skin glowy and hydrated. Indeed it’s kinda
pricey compared to any other moisturizer out there, but this one works like
magic to my skin. Coming in 4 different types for each skin type, you can
easily find the one that fits your skin condition without a fuss! IPSA’s
products are seriously great and yes, they deserve more attention from skincare
junkies in 2016!
MUJI Light Toning Water – Moisture Type
It’s now a gem from the drugstore range. This water-like
toner looks not promising at first glance, but it totally preps your skin ready
for the next step and adds nice hydration boost to the dehydrated skin without
leaving stickiness behind. Its fairly cheap price also makes a huge plus point
for this product. I love using it for doing CSM method or making my own DIY
mask sheet!
KANEBO Suisai Beauty Clear Powder
I am allergic to all
foaming cleanser except this one. This mild exfoliating facial wash powder is
totally a game-changer to my skincare routine. It leaves my skin so soft &
smooth without harming & drying it like how any other foam cleansers would
do!
TAKAMI Skin Peel Serum
I have always been worried how acids will do bad for my skin,
especially those which are strong enough to perform exfoliation. This serum
proves me wrong. It’s the best AHA peeling serum with nice, clean & simple
ingredients and I will not look for any other exfoliation serums anymore.
Non-irritating, non-drying, just does amazing to the skin.
NIVEA Crème (Germany version)
I use this for the rough skin on several area of my body. It’s
been doing its job nicely, the only thing I don’t really like is the scent! I
am planning to get the Japanese version of this crème and use it as a face cold
cream.
THREE Flawless Ethereal Fluid Foundation SPF 36/PA+++
I admit that I was torn in two minds while picking which base
makeup that I should feature in this post. Finally I chose THREE, because I’ve
been wearing it a lot lately and I love how it looks on my face even after
hours passed by. This is the only complexion product with SPF that doesn’t
cause me outbreaks. With is very natural skin-like finish and nice lightweight
texture, this wins my heart quickly and beats the ultimate ELDW foundation.
Innisfree Eco Gel Liner #2 Brown
Doesn’t budge, waterproof, sweatproof, and smudgeproof. The
texture is super creamy and color payoff is opaque. This underrated gel liner
actually performs really amazing for its price!
ARITAUM Mono Eyes #49
Basically all Mono Eyes shadows from ARITAUM is da bomb, but
I totally fell in love with this shade and without second doubt I’d feature it
right away. My Bae, Jovee, is telling me to grab this because this could be a
dupe for her favorite Too Faced shadow. It’s even more gorgeous in person I’d
say, a very glamorous medium purple with silver glitters. Sooooooo sexy.
Shu Uemura Hard 9 Brow Pencil #05 Stone Gray
A lot of people questioned about the product I used for my
brows and fellas, this . is . IT . If you want brows which are drawn natural
and not ‘blocked’ with colors, you’d love to use this product to drawing hair-like
lines when filling brows. The hardness of this pencil’s lead making it very
suitable to make a natural and clean-looking brow. Beside, its hard lead makes
this product lasts forever…! Curious about it? Don’t worry, I’ll review this soon~
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Androgen
A perfect natural flush color! This seemingly-boring pale
warm pink color turns into a beautiful milky pink-apricot color once applied on
my cheeks. Longevity is awesome too, it’s waterproof and budgeproof as well!
Majolica Majorca Lash King Mascara
Need I say more about this? My lashes have said it all, haven’t
them?
CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet #50 La Romanesque
It’s Chanel. Why do you ask why I love it? BEST . MATTE .
LIPSTICK . EVEEERRRRRR .
Giorgio Armani Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush #506 Blush
Illamasqua indeed is my thing: bold, super-pigmented, great
longevity. But sometimes the Angel side of mine needs something that’s sheerer,
easier to apply and blend when I’m in rush and this product is the answer. I
totally love how soft and smooth it goes upon application, but still buildable
enough to create a subtle to medium
color intensity.
Etude House Silk Scarf Hologram Hair Serum
A perfect serum that makes my hair shiny, holds curl very
well, and surprisingly makes my hair blacker also! Mom loves this one too.
Repurchased for several times already. Cheap yet great!
Jill Stuart Melty Lip Balm
A lovely gift from Blogger fella, Tata, which quickly turned
into a major love of mine and even a Holy Grail lip balm at the moment! It
soothes and moisturizes my lips like magic, leaving my lips oh-so-smooth and
kissable the next morning. Shiny and a bit sticky, but this is the only lip
balm I would repurchase over and over again.
e.l.f Shimmering Facial Whip in
Spotlight
A $1 beauty steal! This product surprisingly makes a great
debut, and the result is never disappointing – not even once! I can see why
everybody’s raving the facial whip series from e.l.f. – they’re that
good, I swear.
Jill Stuart Eyelash Curler
I’m so devoted to my Shu Uemura Curler, but I then found out
this curler fits Asian eyes better, thanks to the flatter curve. It doesn’t
pinch or poke the skin around lashes’ roots, not even once. And the real Swarovski
accessories attached down there…who’s not mesmerized by it?
