I BOUGHT A NEW CAMERA! WOO!

So since my Canon PowerShot A1100 IS was just too………old-fashioned and it couldn’t work properly anymore, I asked Mams to buy me a new camera. I don’t want DSLR camera la, it’s too heavy and not easy to carry around while travelling! I love pocket camera more because it’s lightweight, simple, yet able to capture beautiful pictures—even not as beautiful as DSLR will LOL. Pocket camera is enough for blogging and reviewing purposes, so yeah I bought one again~

I got Sony Cyber-Shot DSCWX50. Actually I want to buy the DSCWX100, but it was sold out just ONE DAY before I made the purchase. Bad luck me! (;A;  ) DSCWX100 has 18.2MP lens and able to zoom until 20x while DSCWX50 has only 16.8MP and able to zoom until 10x. Gah I still regret it lerrr!

But there’s one thing that keeps bothering me…Okay, just take a look at these two pictures below :

This one is taken with my old dumb Canon.

And this one…..

IS TAKEN USING MY NEW SONY!

The two pictures above were taken under the same lighting and the same composition. And WHAT, is it just me or it’s the ugly truth that CANON TOOK BETTER PICTURE???? Well Sony has 16MP lens when Canon only has 12MP. Plus, the Canon is a 5 years-ago camera. HECK???? \(O.O\) (/O.O)/
I’m super, super stressed and depressed! I keep asking people: which took picture better, but I haven’t got the satisfying and “sounds right” answer!

This post is nothing beauty-related, but really I’m very confused rite now! I want the decent and eye-catching photos and pictures for my blog, and really, I really need honest opinions from you guys! Please help me to develop and improve my blog! And oh, since the moment is just soooooo right, let me ask you some questions that relates to my post too~

Please help me by dropping your thoughts below in the comment section, by answering these questions :

1.      Which picture is better, and more eye-catching for my blog, and reviewing purposes? Why? TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME THE TRUTH! PUH-LEASEEEEEE!
2.      What do you suggest me to improve the picture’s quality so it turns more eye-catching? Since buying new camera is nearly impossible in this year!
3.      Do you prefer me to do reviews in Bahasa or English? This one is in Bahasa, and this one is in English.
4.      Do you think my reviews are too long? Do I need to shorten it?
5.      Are you interested to reading my upcoming posts? What makes you are?
6.      Do you think this blog’s layout is already good and user-friendly?

Thank you for participating, I badly want to hear from all of you guys! I’ve been so ‘galau’ these last days, because of this camera thingy (;A;   ) Helppppppp!

Review : Max Factor Lasting Performance in 105 Soft Beige

Foundation is one of the things I can barely fall in love with. Why? It works amazing for skin imperfection and has far better coverage than BBcream does, but sometimes the heavy coverage clogs pores and causes more acnes on my skin (;A;  )

My skin is sensitive, oily, and acne-prone which makes my journey to get a right foundation harder and longer than people with normal skin has. I heard some good products that work on other people with sensitive skin, but not all good products work well on me tho (´._.`)

When I first heard about this product from ce Yennyca, I doubted it would work amazing on me. A foundation with medium coverage? Even a light coverage foundation causes me breakouts! But it's Max Factor, which mascara makes me fall in love with--mascara is also one of the things I barely fall in love with. So I encouraged myself to give this foundation a try.....nobody knows would it work well on me or not unless I tried it myself!

The packaging is simple......way too simple. And not attractive at all! It looks cheap, plastic tube with black sleek plastic cap. But don't they say never judge a book by its cover? So.....well let's try it!

It has 35ml, and only for IDR 80.000! Cheap eh? It's a lot, and costs less than common drugstore products (/´`)/

The ingredients list. Ugh, it contains methylparaben and propylparaben!

I love this kind of tube, a squeeze type. You can control the amount that you need so no wasting on the product! It's hygienic too, because no contact with the product inside occurs.

I got mine in shade 105 Soft Beige. Think it's a little bit too dark on my face, just a little bit tho. I swatched this on my hand before buying it (a fatal mistake!) But luckily I missed just a little bit. Phew!

It blends beautifully, without making it looks too white or too cakey. The coverage is medium and buildable, which I love
This foundation also has natural finish and great oil coverage too, but I usually set it with powder.
(P.S. : in these photos the foundation appears very yellow, please bear with the lighting! >.<)

HEARTS
 ♥ NATURAL FINISH.
MEDIUM COVERAGE.
NO OXIDIZING.
BUILDABLE TEXTURE.
EASILY BLEND INTO THE SKIN.
CHEAP. Only IDR 80.000 for 35ml!
GOOD OIL CONTROL.
DOES NOT CAUSE ME BREAKOUTS!! `)

CROSSES
✗ CHEAP PACKAGING. I was almost not gonna buy this product because the packaging is not convincing! Really!
CONTAINS METHYLPARABEN AND PROPYLPARABEN.
FRAGRANCED. It smells nice, but sometimes it can be really disturbing to those who are allergic to fragranced products.

REPURCHASE?
YES OF COURSE! This is an amazing product, surely I will repurchase!

CONCLUSION
Max Factor Lasting Performance is surely a great product I really can scream of. It's cheap, and it works far, far better than it costed me for a tube. The name suits it performance though, it lasts on my oily face for 8 hours straight. No oxidation, no breakouts, and no signs of irritation. What else could I ask for?

Have you ever tried this product? Buy one, I know you will love it as my skin does! Take care now, the teacher is already feeling so suspicious about me. Gotta go, bye

Review : Lioele Eyelash in #06

One of the items from this month haul is a pair of eyelashes from Lioele. I should say this is my very first fake lashes ever! Every time I went to saloon to get my makeup done (few years ago before I learnt how to do makeups LOL) they never put fake lashes on my eyes. Yeah they said that my natural lashes are quite long and have good volume too, so I’d not need fake lashes because they would make my eyes look heavy (-__________- “)

But to be honest I’ve been wondering how it feels to have fake lashes on my eyes! Those with fake lashes appear to have bigger and brighter eyes, and their eyes look very outstanding from other features on her face. So without my mom knowing this (sorry Mams!) I bought a pair of this lashes from my first visit to Lioele’s counter. Let’s wonder no more la!

I got mine in #06, and no additional information, sorry! All written in Hangeul and I DON’T HAVE A SINGLE IDEA WHAT THEY MEAN LA T__T

Why buying this? Because I planned my look for Halloween was a ‘wicked’ version of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and this one looks really close to her falsies here in this photo, so that’s why I chose this!

It comes with a glue too, YAY so I don’t have to spend on buying eyelash glue LOL *get slapped*

An instruction to put on falsies. Should pay attention to the picture carefully, from step to step, because I don’t understand Hangeul yet this is my very first time of wearing falsies la!

The hair is really smooth, and it’s very lightweight! Since this is my first falsies, I don’t know the comparisons between this one and the famous Dollywink falsies. Should buy another fake lashes soon! The length of the hair is not too long or too short, I think it’s more into natural look, maybe because this is a Korean product? LOL (~*o*)~

I used this falsies on my Halloween FOTD, “Voodoo Doll”. Check it if you haven’t, here’s one photo as a sneak peek! XD

excuse my chubby cheeks!
See how natural is it? I think it’s not long enough to get dramatic eyes LOL but my eyes are slightly bigger, and notice that I wear no contact lenses atm! \(^o^)/

HEARTS
CHEAP. Only IDR 45.000 for a pair!
GOOD QUALITY. I can use it up to 3 times without messing up with the shape.
NATURAL. Good for those who want a cute bigger eyes without looking too much.
LIGHTWEIGHT. It’s not heavy at all!
            DOESN’T HAVE TO BE TRIMMED.
            COMES WITH A GLUE.
            CUTE PACKAGING.

CROSSES
˟ THE GLUE WHERE THE LASHES ARE STUCK INSIDE THE BOX IS TOO STRONG. It’s very hard to pull them out, which makes me to pull them harsh so it can damage the lashes (;A;  )

see? X(

REPURCHASE?
YES! This lashes has natural look, and sometimes natural and ‘normal’ lashes are needed in some occasions :p

CONCLUSION
Lioele Eyelashes is a great product overall. Despite of its glue where the lashes sit inside the box which could damage this product when you pull it out for the first time, I don’t think there are any other cons about this product! It gives a natural look but still cute. Go buy yourself one, because I’m grabbing other series as well! It comes with a glue too, so you can bring this to travel without bringing eyelash glue which means more space.

Give a try to this product! It’s cheap yet the quality is very good. Lioele is surely one of my favorite Korean brands. You can order it online too, just go visit their Facebook page here or Twitter. The shops are opening soon in some cities in Indonesia, so worry no more!

GOODBYE IRRITATION!!

I have good news for me and all of you girls! First of all I’d like to thank you for all the supports, motivations, and suggestions. Without them, I think I couldn’t reach this condition now. So, do you wonder what the good news is?

MY SKIN HAS RID OF ITS IRRITATION!
YAY!

As you know from this post, my skin has been suffering from an irritation and skin inflammation. Rash is everywhere, and my face is red like if I’m having a very bad sunburn. Still remember how it used to look?

And do you wonder how it looks like now?

glowy skin even tho i still have a lot of pimples XD

Yay, eh?
This is my bare face without anything, even not toner! Took the photo right after was washing my face. No photoshop of course because you can clearly see my pimples and blemishes LOL
I must admit now, the irritation is over, but the pimples are coming back! Yes, but…call me a weirdo, but I’d rather have pimples like everywhere than having an irritated face. Acnes are much cooler than irritation, believe me!

I had stopped using the creams from ‘that clinic’ since I published this post. And after that post, I got emails that suggest ways to get rid of skin irritation, and an offer of trying some products that can save my skin. I appreciate all of them, I really do! Like, before posting the confession post I must admit I was a little bit afraid of being a gossip topic of my haters (I hope I have any LOL) and etc. But I was wrong, all I got was supports. Thank you, once again thank you! *bow down*

Back to the story, I tried to make DIY masks, tried the samples and masks that were sent to me as a treatment for my skin (thanks to Shabang Shabang for this: for concerning about my skin irritations and sending me some products to try on), and yes I should say all of them has helped me sooooo much!!! My skin still is a little bit red now, but I see no sign of inflammation remains. And the pimples are coming back—which makes me really grateful because it means not even a little amount of the hazardous chemical formula inside the ‘creams’ that still remains in my skin LOL. It took me 2 months to finally get this condition of my skin. A long way up eh?

Now the story of the irritation is over, and I’m back to a journey of defeating all of this pimples and acnes! Luckily my skin type is one of the types that easily get rid of blemishes, but the acnes are everywhere tho. So now I’m concerning on a fight against all this pimples!

After browsing the internet through Google, I quickly found out that my acnes type is a grade II acnes. I have pustules and papules, as well as mild acnes in grade I such as milia and blackheads. That’s why blemishes don’t sit for a long time on my skin! LOL

(PS : Am I right on defining the type of my acnes? Please, please correct me if I’m wrong so that I can get a right treatment to them!)

***

So do any of you have suggestions for my acnes problem? I’d love to hear from you guys! Last time I share it here with you, my readers, I was totally helped and happy. As a form of gratitude, I would soon publish a post about getting rid of skin irritation, how and what to do with your irritation, also maybe a skin irritation 101!

I hope my experience with irritation will help you to be more selective before choosing products for your face. Because one mistake can be as fatal as how you never imagine it to be, so beware!
Thank you, and kisses from me. XOXO!
